WELCOME TO THE TEAM! – Waylon Cornelius
We are excited to announce that Waylon Cornelius has joined the Craft Culinary Concepts team at Will Rogers Memorial Center as our new Executive Chef!
During his training as assistant executive sous chef at the AAA Four-Diamond Grand Hyatt DFW, Chef Waylon was mentored by Executive Chef Sutti Sripolpa. He also gained experience under Chef de Cuisine Eric Dryer, who later became Oprah Winfrey’s personal chef. Additionally, he worked alongside Executive Chef Jean-Claude Plihon, refining his French cooking skills.
As executive sous chef during the opening of Perry’s Steakhouse and Grille in Southlake, Cornelius gained his first experience with high-volume service. He then spent two years at HG Supply Co., where he learned about gluten-free options and various food allergies.
